New Life in Christ Pentecostal Church was birth from the Broad Street Pentecostal Church in 1988. Pastor Hareld Davis, III began the church in Elmsmere, Booneland with the blessing of his pastor, Eld. Jeremiah Craig. The church grew slowly over the next year. When the pastor of Broad Street P.C., Eld. Jeremiah Craig was dying, he asked the membership of the Broad Street Church to unite with the newly formed New Life in Christ P.C. Eighty-three percent of Broad Street did as Eld. Craig suggested. The church has been growing every since. New Life In Christ P.C. has become a church that focuses on family. Pastor Davis and Sis. Davis, believe that God should be the head of our lives and family should be the focus of our lives. Those two things are very important for the growth of church and ministry. New Life in Christ offers in-house ministries and monthly services that focus on each member of the family. The church also offers annual conferences, conventions, and a revival that focuses on family. New Life in Christ Pentecostal Church joined the Greater Buelahland Fellowship in 1990. Pastor Davis worked tirelessly in the Fellowship. His efforts were rewarded when he was voted in as the vice-president of the Booneland Headquarters by unanimous vote in 2000.
